About Englewood

The city of Englewood is located south of downtown Denver off Santa Fe Drive and is home to over 35,000 residents. Commuting from Englewood to downtown for work is a breeze with Denver’s RTD D line running directly alongside Santa Fe Drive through the city, as well as the many highways throughout the city.

Englewood has many recreational activities throughout the seasons. In the summer, cool off at Pirates Cove Family Aquatic Center with pools, slides, and a lazy river. For art lovers, visit the Museum of Outdoor Arts for a rich variety of interactive artwork and a stunning outdoor sculpture garden. The Gothic Theatre, formerly a movie theatre, is fully decorated in art deco and hosts performers and bands throughout the year.

Englewood’s history starts with finding gold in the mid 1800s. The discovery of gold in the South Platte River spurred a gold rush, and Englewood became home to prospectors looking to strike it rich.

Englewood is now one of the larger Denver suburbs with a number of well-rated schools, and is a hub for all types of businesses and industries including major medical and manufacturing facilities. Englewood has a historic town center with local retail shops and startups to boot.
